PyroSmart NextGen^® is ACC’s recombinant technology that replicates the LAL enzyme cascade without requiring horseshoe crab blood. It was the first commercially available complete recombinant cascade reagent (rCR) on the market and provides an innovative BET solution with better results than traditional reagents, using no animal content. Recombinant reagents made from animal-free proteins are accepted for endotoxin testing under USP Chapter <86>, making it easier for ACC customers to transition to this sustainable option for BET.
